As reported previously by Portuguese Extreme Metallers MALEVOLENCE, SLITHERING the brand new video from the band is now playing.
The PREMIERE is broadcasting exclusively via METAL UNDERGROUND in USA, PUREGRAINAUDIO in CANADA, BURST in GREECE and ARTE SONORA in PORTUGAL.
SLITHERING, written by guitarist/vocalist Carlos Cariano is taken from the band’s upcoming third album ANTITHETICAL, which will be released in 2013.
The audio (visual) episode now in exhibition was directed by David Barros of 4THERECORDS.
GREECE and BRAZIL Medias were primarily interested in contributing for the previously reported alliance. Though GREECE only confirmed participation on the event today. MALEVOLENCE welcomes aboard their GREEK FANS and informs as well that that BRAZIL will soon launch the rotation of the video.

SLITHERING, the brand new video from Portuguese Extreme Progressive Metallers MALEVOLENCE will premiere exclusively via METAL UNDERGROUND in USA, PUREGRAINAUDIO in CANADA and ARTE SONORA in PORTUGAL. It was directed by David Barros of 4THERECORDS. SLITHERING, written by guitarist/vocalist Carlos Cariano, is taken from the band’s upcoming third album ANTITHETICAL, which will be released in 2013.
Carlos commented about the new video: “SLITHERING was the first single extracted from our impending new album. DECIBEL MAGAZINE kindly assisted us to make the PREMIERE of the audio episode some weeks ago, helping us in the process to show the song writing diversity on ANTITHETICAL. Now we are moving forward and presenting the visual production of our first (ever) music video interrelated with the same song. To achieve that we worked with 4THERECORDS, a young company producing mainly short films and commercials. SLITHERING is their boldest achievement to date and we are truly pleased with the visual quality of our first cooperation with this entity. The support of 4THERECORDS was central and decisive to attain the professional final results”.
Considering the alliance held for this PREMIERE, Carlos added: “Subsequent to the PREMIERE of SLITHERING we received rave reviews far and wide. The interest upon ANTITHETICAL grows on a daily basis rate. Sharing our video through such professional media, in 3 different Countries at the same time means quite something!”

After a 13 year hiatus the band reveals to their fans a taste of the overall concept that’s about to come. Portuguese extreme metal fine exports MALEVOLENCE have just arrived to WOODSHED STUDIO and in their own words the weather seems to look fine as well as the surroundings. In the meanwhile the band met up with V. Santura and it looks like it feels in addition good to finally meet the personality behind the facility.
MALEVOLENCE will be on this conclave and missing between the 13th and the 24th March 2012.
In their suitcases they bring the full recording structures for their 3rd yet untitled full length effort. The process of recording vocals is schedule for tomorrow and after that they will start the final mixing & mastering process on all the new material. third album completed
Portuguese extreme progressive metallers MALEVOLENCE announce that their brand new third album is now concluded in terms of recording, mixing and mastering.
The long awaited successor to their second album will be the band’s first official release since their 1999 release MARTYRIALIZED (recorded in Fredman Studios).
The new album was produced entirely by Carlos Cariano, the group’s singer, guitarist, lyricist and main songwriter. All the instrumentation was completely recorded during diverse sessions between the fall of 2011 and the beginning of 2012 by Paulo Pereira (keyboards and programming) at his own 20M2SEA Studio in Portugal.
Vocal recordings, final mixing and mastering were generated in Woodshed Studio in Landshut, Germany, property of producer V. Santura (TRIPTYKON, OBSCURA, DARK FORTRESS).
The recording lineup on the new album consists of the same members that were responsible for the generation of MARTYRIALIZED, while introducing session drummer extraordinaire Dirk Verbeuren (SOILWORK, THE DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT, JEFF LOOMIS).
The final album title, track listing and further details shall be revealed soon.
